questions on education

Education is an essential part of one's life. If  looked beyond its conventional boundaries, it forms very essence of all our actions. Education is a necessity. It is self empowerment, provides financial stability, help us to plan ahead, and provides dignity in life.
After completing half semester or i can say after completing some unit's from semester 1 of  B.Ed course there are some questions that arouses in my mind.

Question 1) Some students are slow learner and face difficulty in learning in the class. What can the teacher do to take the whole class together at the same pace of learning?

Question 2) Is having content knowledge enough to be a good teacher?

Question 3) we often see that many deserving students deprived off financial support does not get admission in good institutes but students from rich background get into top institutes despite of the fact they are not deserving. Is it justified?

Question 4) Students in their schooling are not given sex education. They get curious and search on net about that and many times they get to know about the wrong sites. Rather creating a taboo about it we should teach them about it in a well planned way. Why sex education is a taboo in India and students are not taught about it ?

Question 5) Many teachers are not well updated about current scenario of the world so how can they will be able to teach the future of our country. A national level exam should be conducted in every five years for teacher and should check how much a teacher is updated.

Question 6) There is need to counsel parents and students regarding vocational courses like music, art and dance. it is important for then to understand that there is large scope for  such courses.

Question 7) Is theoretical knowledge enough to pursue higher studies or practical knowledge is also important?

 Question 8) one of the aim of education is to make student spiritual, develop moral values. Then why students are not taught philosophy in primary sections so that they can have positive thoughts and have less anger, so that they can become good citizen and do not commit any crime?
